We have recently completed our second project for this ownership group. The Varsteel Cut to Length Building was a design build project that included complete design and construction of a 102,800sf facility. The building utilized a pre-engineered metal building structure which was erected by Quorex Constructions in house pre-engineered erecting crew.
The building foundation consists of CFA concrete piles due to the existing high-water table and aquifer throughout the project site. Concrete slab on grade is being installed throughout the shipping and receiving wings of the facility with structural slab installed throughout the center link building and office area.
The link building includes extensive foundations specifically designed to house Varsteel’s below grade steel cut to length equipment.
The project included complete building construction as well as site development. Site development included granular surfacing of storage compound, perimeter fencing, landscaping, and asphalt parking lot areas.
